The key shield, which comes in several colors, holds a control key and a cabinet key on a Tamper-Proof ring along with two vinyl strips (the vinyl strips have been removed from the image to show the control key). The key shield has cut outs on both sides of it which run the length of the metal chamber and openings at both ends. While the cabinet key on the ring sits in a lock, the control key hangs suspended from the same ring inside the shield between two vinyl strips to hide its cut code.
